SENIORS vs CRIME           PROJECT HISTORY

In 1989, some of Florida's most effective crime fighters were unleashed through the creation of the Attorney General's Seniors vs Crime Project. This effective unit has allowed seniors to become involved not only in their own protection, but also that of their fellow citizens.

Seniors vs Crime is well known throughout the state. Volunteers serve as the Attorney General's eyes and ears and actively assist in consumer protection investigations. Statewide, these crime fighters have been responsible for recovering more than $7 million for seniors who were victims of con artists. Unethical businesses and individuals may believe that their senior target is helpless when, in fact, these citizens may be working for the Attorney General. Please give the Seniors vs Crime  project a chance to help you with a consumer related complaint by calling 863-419-3701 for the Haines City  Office or 863-577-1672 for the Lakeland Office.
