"SENIORS HELPING SENIORS"
The purpose of SENIORS VS CRIME is to provide direct services to seniors. Our office is staffed by Senior Volunteers, where if you feel you have been victimized or otherwise taken advantage of, you can come and speak to us in full confidence. Many seniors will not report crimes against them, especially fraud, due to embarrassment or fear of repercussions. This is not a concern at Seniors vs Crime.
Our Office gives them a safe place to make your complaints known. A senior volunteer will attempt to resolve the complaint through research, making phone calls, writing letters etc. Complaints that are civil in nature are often resolved by the Office Volunteer or may be referred to another agency for investigation. If it is found that the case is criminal in nature it will be referred to Law Enforcement.
